KINGS OF PARTHIA. Mithradates II, 121-91 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 29 mm, 15.62 g, 12 h), Seleukeia on the Tigris, circa 120/19-109. Diademed and draped bust of Mithradates II to left. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - MEΓAΛOΥ - AΡΣAKOΥ - EΠIΦANOΥΣ Arsakes I seated right on omphalos, holding bow in his right hand; in exergue, TV. Sellwood 24.4 var. (palm branch to outer right on reverse). Shore 67 var. (palm branch to outer right on reverse). Sunrise 284 var. (palm branch to outer right on reverse). Lightly toned. The obverse struck slightly off center from a worn die, otherwise, very fine.
